BerryDunn is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Des Moines, IA

Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a Project Coordinator with a desire to support management consulting services in the State government Health and Human Services (HHS) sector to join our Medicaid Consulting Practice. You will have past experience with government agencies—preferably in Health and Human Service settings with a preference for experience in Medicaid programs. You will work closely with various project tracks and the leads on a regular basis. This role requires significant client facing time to support meetings and other discussions related to MES Modernization, Procurement Acquisition and Project Management support. You will be supporting our client based out of Des Moines, Iowa and will work remotely while traveling approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Perform a wide variety of analytical tasks with the continuous improvement of processes, personnel, organization, system, or training
  • Organize, plan, and schedule project meetings
  • Create Agenda, take meeting notes and record action items, decisions, and risks
  • Assistance in the development, review, distribution, and presentation of project status reports
  • Maintain project action items, issues, risks, and decisions.
  • Assist in deliverable review facilitation, tracking, and maintenance.
  • Participate in staff/team meetings and trainings.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff to the project following the Client defined processes
  • Frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor, and project manager

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in developing and applying analytic methodologies in a professional work setting
  • Ability to lead the application of analytic techniques and assist in defining the project objectives, methodologies, and principles
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Experience with taking minutes and notes on meetings
  • Experience scheduling meetings in Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent analytics, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills for balancing multiple assignments and achieving quality results in a timely manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a strong client service attitude
