BerryDunn is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Bangor, ME

Overview

BerryDunn is seeking an Administrative Assistant with knowledge of reception duties and overall front office activities to join our operations team and support our Audit and Tax groups. The Administrative Assistant will organize office communication and activities on a day-to-day basis. This individual’s primary responsibilities include handling incoming calls and visitors while maintaining office common areas and facilitating meetings. Responsibilities within the company will be added to this entry level position with continued experience and growth. Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and have demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a very busy office. Excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant phone manner, typing ability (data entry), and familiarity with Word and Outlook are required. This position is planned to sit in the Bangor, Maine location. You will report to Office Manager for the Operations Team. 

Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Scan and file electronic documents
  • Maintain workflow records
  • Provide proofing and editorial review of proposals, exhibits, and other deliverables
  • Maintain contact lists and assist with mailings using SalesForce
  • Prepare proposals and reports (completing forms and tabs, printing, collation, binding, shipping and monitoring for arrival of shipments)
  • Assist technical staff with tasks specific to client work in-process
  • Plan and coordinate travel and meeting arrangements (hotel accommodations, air travel, car rental, reserving conference rooms, parking arrangements for hosted guests, coordinating food and drinks for meetings)
  • Coordinate internal schedules and meetings for Operations staff using Outlook
  • Compose, type and file routine correspondence
  • Assist other departments and groups as needed
  • Type correspondence and maintain client files on network
  • Prepare and coordinates group mailings
  • Special projects
  • Backup coverage to receptionist
  • Type and process client billing
  • Assist office manager with projects and office event planning

  • Knowledge of Office 365 Software: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Preference for candidates with knowledge of Salesforce

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 an hour. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
