Berry Global is Hiring a FORKLIFT OPERATOR I Near Nicholasville, KY
- Process all shipments and deliveries as needed
- Practice good housekeeping within all aspects of the warehouse/s. 5S standards to be used as well as FIFO on all raw materials and finished goods
- Follow all Company policies and procedures
- Assist/ backup the Warehouse Lead as needed
- Generate bill of lading for all outbound freight
- Receive incoming freight including stock transfers
- Receive packaging
- Process billing
- Process export documents
- Participates in monthly inventories for warehouse including year end inventory
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
6 months of related experience preferred
Possess basic math skills
Computer and Microsoft literate
Ability to use office equipment
Ability to understand shipping/loading requirements, weight requirements, customs paperwork, inventory control and customers’ special instructions
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
