Assist Studio One Eleven team in the creation and development of proprietary packaging and related product solutions.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Develop rigid packaging and related product solutions that appropriately respond to branding, functionality, and manufacturability criteria as defined by Studio One Eleven management.
• Assist in the development of rigid packaging and related product solutions, from phase 0 market research & sample gathering, concept to design control drawing, to CAD model to prototype.
• Assist the Studio with its presentation / production requirements.
• Positively represent Berlin Packaging and Studio One Eleven to internal, external, and prospective clients.

• Contributes positively to Studio culture and camaraderie.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• BS/BFA in Industrial Design/Product Design
• 0-4 years in a corporate design department or design consultancy
• Ability to manage time and resources on multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong design sketching for internal collaboration and external communication of ideas
• Working knowledge of Sketchbook Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Strong sense of style and form and sensitivity to consumer branding issues
• Project experience in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in 3-D surfacing, solid modeling, and rendering. Experience in Solidworks or alternative Parametric CAD program a strong plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite
• Ability to work remotely while staying accountable and productive in all job expectations
• Ability to travel
