Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our expanding Information Technology group.

The individual’s role will be to provide the technical knowledge to design, develop, and test programs to fit the needs of the business. All program changes will be made using the RPG programming language in the System I environment.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 10 years recent experience maintaining, designing, programming and testing applications in AS400/iSeries environment
  • Transportation/Logistics Experience a plus
  • Must be very experienced with languages and tools: RPG(III, IV, ILE, Free), CLP, DDS, CMD, DBU, SQL.
  • Proven skills in research, analysis, project planning, program design and implementation
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Ability to operate in a team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and execute on aggressive deadlines
  • Flexible in a changing work environment, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • 4-year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant working experience required
