You will assist with all details including menu planning. What you will have an opportunity to do: The Catering /Sales Mgr. is responsible for booking, selling, planning, coordinating, and overseeing all social events. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBIILITIES: 1. Direct solicitation of events and conducting property site tours to prospective clients. 2. Planning and Coordination of special events with all details. 3. Communicate planning information to the operating departments in a timely fashion. 4. Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage, including menu planning. 5. Providing theme concept designs for functions, assisting with the set-up of all theme events. 6. Ability to analyze client needs and negotiate pricing. 7. Be present at all events. 8. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. 9. Utilize the Salesforce/Delphi System to include BEO’s, activities as well as merge documents.. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE Someone with the availability to work when the events are happening. i.e. weekend, nights and holidays. 1 – 2 years hospitality industry including some experience in selling and menu planning. Microsoft office Computer skills, Salesforce, Delphi exp. preferred. Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong time management skills while focusing on attention to details, accuracy, and quality.
