Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair options.
- Operate a box truck to transport tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role in appliance repair or field service.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle (box truck) safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with various types of appliances and their components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license is required.
