Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong route driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or other commercial vehicles to deliver products to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and delivery procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift safely (certification is a plus).
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.95 - $20.66 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
