Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to the group at Kings County Hospital. The Hospital is part of the? NYC Health Hospitals System (NYCHHC) . Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

We are hiring for a Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Kings County.

• Planning, implementing and coordinating the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency curriculum, resident selection, supervision, and performance evaluation in compliance with CODA.
• Supervision of residents and dental students in the outpatient and inpatient clinical areas.
• Under general directions, performs all required dental/surgical services within his/her field of specialty.
• Provide direct patient care.
• Ongoing participation in the departmental Quality Assurance Program.
• Assist in the maintenance of standards of performance of physicians and other professional employees working in the service.
• Assume Emergency on-call responsibilities.

• Current licensed NYS registration certificate
• Graduate of an accredited dental school and MD/OMS degree conferred by a programaccredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
• Completion of an approved residency program accredited by CODA
