This Dallas, TX boutique-level residential interior design firm is adding a meticulous designer for the Lead Interior Designer role. Possessing at least 4 – 6 years of experience with a high-end residential design firm, our ideal candidate will enjoy a coveted role with this 20-year-old, highly respected firm.

Amid growth and extensive brand expansion, this full-time position involves working directly with the Principal Designer. You will be responsible for the development and execution of design: from conception and presentation through completion of the final installation.

• Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-FIDER accredited institution
• 4 – 6 years of professional design experience in luxury residential design and 3 years of sourcing from high-end showrooms

• Experience should include comprehensive project management

• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Proficiency with construction drawings, codes, materials, furniture, finish selections, and specifications as well as extensive product and vendor knowledge
• Prior experience with tight deadlines, exceptional ability to manage your time, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Support Principal with all aspects of design projects, including sourcing
• Conduct client meetings

• Obtain information allowing you to create and develop exceptional client presentations
• Creation of concept presentations
• Prepare client proposals

• CAD drawings and hand sketching
• Floor plans, color, and material schemes
• Project management inclusive of developing and managing budgets
• Work with expediting team
• On-site coordination includes coordinating and overseeing final installations
• Must be detailed in your documentation, organization, and project management
• Delegate to the junior designer as needed

• Generous salary, $65k - $80k, negotiable DOE
