Behavioral Family Solutions is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Boynton, FL

Summary / Objective

The human resource coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. The human resource coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Searches for candidates on really, and properly utilizes Job score to keep track of candidates.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all RBTs and students, including prescreening and interviewing.
  • Conducts new-employee orientations; and all onboarding activities using ADP and Central Reach.
  • Participates in career fairs, and job fairs at universities and assists in educating students on the Applied Behavior Analysis educational track and BFS’s scholarship and internship programs.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Answers phones for the HR department and provides coverage company wide as needed.
  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
  • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Assists the manager with HR projects.
  • Completes employment verifications for RBTs.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
  • Assists with the distribution and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties and HR related administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualification

  • High school diploma with two years of HR related experience, or bachelor’s degree in HR.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adhere to HIPPA regulations.
  • Ability to maintain information with the strictest confidentiality.
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • ADP and Central Reach system administration preferred.
