YOU can be a part of this change! By joining our team, you'll directly impact the lives of the people we serve. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for providing direct services and multiple functions of the Clinical Department at Behavior Genius. Behavior Technicians are Clinical professionals who will display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues. Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is advantageous.

What You'll Do

  • Data collection
  • Teach communication, social, and self-care skills to children ages 2-18 years.
  • Review behavior plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by behavior analysts for clients in order to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately.
  • Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
  • Communicate openly with the supervisory team
  • Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan

What We're Looking For

  • Must have obtained a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving
  • Proven ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Experience in naturalistic settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities
  • Clear level-two background check
  • Verifiable work references
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proof of Car Insurance
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Spanish (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)
