Care Pavilionis a 396-bed acute and long-term care facility, located in the heart of Philadelphia and easily accessible via public transportation from all areas of the Philadelphia and the western suburbs. We have a new part-time position available in Payroll/Human Resources to provide support; This position may be perfect for someone great at organizing documents and information as well as ensuring details are completed accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the onboarding process of new hires including background checks, references, and following up with new hires to ensure completion before orientation.
• Prepare new hire packets, participate in the orientation process and ensure employee files are set up according to company procedure.
• Participate in payroll processing notifying departments of missing punches and PTO balances. Entering missed punches, paid time off, etc. ensuring timecards are complete, accurate, and balanced with the payroll register. Participates in pulling, developing, and distributing reports as needed.
• Assist with other HR programs in such areas as Employee Recognition/Retention, Database entry and reporting as well as Unemployment Compensation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human resources management or studying toward a degree in human resources management is a huge plus as is a working knowledge of U.S. Labor Laws.
• Experience working in an office environment; proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
