Department: Skilled Nursing Position: FT RN Charge- Evenings

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides direct and ongoing contact with the residents, physicians, staff members, families, and vendors. Monitors the physical, mental, and social functioning of the resident. Demonstrates teamwork ability. Serves as a resident advocate. Conducts thorough nursing assessments and incident reports of residents
• Follows standard nursing care practices for treatment and medication distribution
• Maintains current documentation and other clinical records, ensuring completeness in a timely manner
• Facilitates orientation and training of all necessary staff involved with the care of the residents
• Demonstrates willingness for continuing education

EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state – BSN preferred. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Minimum 1-year experience as nursing supervisor.
