Primary Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Dining Supervisor to oversee our Dining Services Department. Dining Room supervisors are responsible for the management of dining rooms and events. You will be responsible for assuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality, graciousness, service and cleanliness. You will plan, coordinate and direct activities of the dining room staff to provide professional and fine dining service. Following our mission, you are expected to exceed resident's expectations.Essential Duties:
Duties will include ensuring adequate staff coverage, delegating tasks, assisting residents or guests with special requests, and directing efficient dining room service. You must make sure that the staff always wear proper and clean uniforms and have proper certification. You will serve as a liaison between other departments. You will positively coach, inspect and train immediately. All supervisors must be knowledgeable in laws and regulations concerning labor, alcohol and food safety issues.Other duties include inspection of dining rooms, table settings, chairs, floors, and dining equipment for proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
Education: High School Diploma/GED. Sev Safe And RAMPS Certification required after hire.
Must have excellent communications skills and good supervisory skills. Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
