Bear Mountain Healthcare is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Boston, MA

West Roxbury Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an individual to to administer and perform payroll and HR Generalist functions for a nursing Home in the Boston area. The individual must have strong computer skills, confidentiality, payroll experience, and must have knowledge of Human Resource tasks for the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll using ADP Run.
  • Set up, process and maintain changes to employee files such as direct deposit, address changes, and deductions.
  • Managing time clocks, tracking payroll hours
  • Administer yearly OSHA 300 log processing
  • Prepare and submit required payroll reports
  • Assist with clerical and administrative aspects of benefits, employee contributions, employee enrollments and terminations
  • Maintain online job postings, screen potential applicants and schedule interview for prospective candidates
  • Provide coordination and assistance to employees during Annual Enrollment for company benefits
  • Assist management with special projects as needed
  • Process new hires on-boarding and terminations
  • Maintain employee files
  • Workers Compensation, FMLA, PFMLA tracking and trending, present report at monthly safety meeting
  • Maintain Records of absenteeism tracking
  • Additional duties and responsibilites per job description as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of previous payroll experience is required ADP experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in human resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
