Bear Mountain Healthcare is Hiring a Director of Nursing (DON/ DNS) Near Worcester, MA

Bear Mountain Healthcare is looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) for our Worcester, MA location. The Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) is responsible for the clinical oversight, planning, quality, and supporting of the nursing services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator.

Bear Mountain at Worcester is a specialized skilled nursing facility providing neuro-rehabilitation for traumatic and acquired brain injuries, ventilator weaning and management and care of medically complex patients. Staffed with experienced professionals committed to excellence, we provide a welcoming environment with a patient centered approach to care, healing, recovery and comfort.

Our comprehensive continuum of healthcare services include Post-Acute Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term and Respite Care. Our facility is staffed with healthcare professionals who attend to every patient’s needs.

Hours:

  • Full Time – 40 hours

Requirements:

  • RN License in the state required. – BSN preferred
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, including geriatric and/or psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills.
  • Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing care.
  • Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan.
  • Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19, per MA regulations.
