Beach Cities Learning is Hiring a Behavior Interventionist Near Fresno, CA

Overview

Learn Academy is looking for full-time Behavior Interventionist for our location in Fresno, CA.

The hourly pay rate starts at $19.00 p/h

This is a 10-month school year position (with summer school program as an option), with summer and school breaks(fall, winter, spring) off and not paid.

It's perfect for the candidates with a background in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Sociology and Healthcare.

This position is also for candidates that are generally interested to work with children with special needs and want to make a difference in their lives.

Beach Cities Learning/Learn Behavioral offers a comprehensive benefits plan, 401K, and Tuition Assistance (up to $ 2000 per year)  

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Interventionist, you’ll be a part of a school-based special education team.You’ll provide assistance to the teacher in the implementation of all program components such as: Clinical Program, Instruction, Special Education Services and Physical Fitness. You will be supported by a mentor, veteran behavior technicians and an on-site administrator manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Experience working with children in a special needs education setting including moderate to severe disabilites, toileting, and extensive ABA experience

Compensation Range

$17 - $25 / hour
