- Leverage internal and external data to develop a comprehensive view of 'strategic opportunities; new products, new markets and new channels, traditional and digital, domestic and abroad.
- Supervise members of the Marketing team to create content that is on brand and highly engaging and creative
- Oversee Marketing department budget including tradeshows, digital spend, consultants, and PR efforts
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive yearly marketing calendar that delivers content and communications, both print and digitally, in a timely manner for maximum engagement and results
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing campaigns, including new product rolls outs, advertising, tradeshows, and all digital marketing initiatives.
- Direct all external communications, including press and media-relations, print products, our e-commerce site, tradeshow booth design and messaging, and digital communications including social media
- Oversee analysis of our user experience and engagement in regard to our digital marketing initiatives including digital advertising, SEO, our e-commerce site, and social media content and direct changes to see improvement
- Research and report on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, competitor brands, marketing initiatives, etc.
- Strong team leader capable of defining vision and strategy for revenue producing products and generating energy and action towards that vision
- Experience developing successful marketing campaigns; must be digital savvy and have a solid understanding of and background in digital marketing and advertising
- Proven track record of being accountable for reaching revenue targets based on marketing strategy and efforts
- A balance of creative and analytical, but first and foremost a strategic thinker
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions, including taking risks and assessing results
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a capability to adapt quickly to changing goals and timelines
- Ability to create effective KPIs toward achieving overall goals for a creative team
- Exceptional communicator and influencer, cross-functional leader who knows how to bring the creative out of a diverse team
- A passion for growing a fun product in new markets!
- Experience working in marketing for a lifestyle brand
- BA in marketing or communications (or related field), MBA preferred
- 5 years in marketing, with at least 2 years managing a team
