We are seeking a positive and proactive leader to serve as our Compliance Manager. The Compliance Manager will be involved in various aspects of firm operations including developing and monitoring firm key performance indicators, maintaining internal accountability, and developing various client service initiatives. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for continuous improvement by reviewing and refining existing processes, systems and solutions, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of firm’s standard operating procedures, as well as internal platforms. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Establish policies that promote company culture and vision. Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. Create and submit reports to the CEO. Manage relationships with partners/vendor(s).
Skills & Requirements:
Ideal candidates must have eight to ten years of experience as an operational leader in a law firm utilizing legal software such as Filevine. MBA or JD a must. Proven experience as an Operations or Compliance Manager or COO. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development. Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics. Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office. Seeking candidates with significant experience in implementation and conversion of CRM or internal platforms, business process improvement, support and service delivery and have expert knowledge in developing and maintaining efficiency and quality improvement measures. Must have strong track-record in monitoring and analysis of operational processes, initiation and management of improvement initiatives leading to the increased in productivity, improved organizational capability. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities. Must be able to work collaboratively across various departments within the firm. Prior experience in a law firm is required.
