Role Summary:

The Information Technology manager is responsible for analyzing current systems and assets, recommending, and implementing solutions and upgrades, and providing training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Objectives of this Role

  • Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration

Recurring Responsibilities

  • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs
  • Oversee ERP maintenance/upgrades
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
  • 5 years’ experience in IT management
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
  • Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
  • Strong systems analysis skills and project management experience
  • Proficient with general computer software including ERP (Acumatica is a plus) & Microsoft Office 365
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and speaking/communication skills. Able to effectively communicate visualizations & ask the right questions
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, result-driven & growth-oriented environment
  • Excellent independent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work with little supervision and make independent decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail
  • Ability to evaluate the technology solutions to the business needs of the organization and find the best possible tools/partners to meet those needs
  • Solid customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
  • Proven track record in working collaboratively with executive team to solve business problems

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 Bonus based on KPI's
