Position: Event Coordinator- Meeting Concierge /Conference Services/Catering Assistant

Daily Responsibilities: Meeting Concierge

GROUP EXPERIENCE

• Greet each guest each morning via walking to each meeting room and introducing yourself. Continue throughout day continuously assisting guests.
• Assist guest throughout the day, as needed
• Prepare signage for conference functions, prepare signs for elevator inserts – to be confirmed
• Act as liaison between Conference Guest / Conference Planner & CS/Catering Manager while group is on property.
• Communicate Immediately to the CS/Catering manager if any issues with client/guests/group arise while on the floor.
• Assist Banquets when needed, checking breaks, cleanliness of meeting any equipment
• Use the Radio to call appropriate departments for any client needs
• Build and maintain a good relationship with our clients and hotel departments
• Handles the “day-only” reservations of the small conference rooms in the facility.

BUSINESS CENTER:

• Fulfill hotel guest’s needs relative to business center. These services include but are not limited to creating documents, copying, faxing, and making signs and/or nametags. Cost may apply
• Maintain the business center supplies inventory.
• Post guest business-related charges on a daily basis.
• Keep local information brochures/information stocked

PACKAGES:

• Send and receive guest packages and conference materials. Maintain the shipping and receiving log.
• Have boxes brought to the client’s registration- banquet housemen to assist.
• Check-in and track all guest packages from purchasing- pertaining to conference groups

*PREVIOUS HOSPITALITY/HOTEL EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
