Eagle Integrated Services, LLC. (EIS) is seeking a Senior System Administrator. This position is a full-time, 40-hour/week contract position supporting the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Responsibilities Include: Manage and maintain the WRAIR IT Servers/Systems. Keep IT servers/systems operating at peak performance, and maintain accessibility for end-users. Responsible for creating and deleting all network/user/non-personal entity/E-Mail accounts, password management and administration Monitor system performance to determine current and potential problems and propose system additions and enhancements to improve performance Support major system architecture changes and servers/devices migration such as: new devices deployment and movement, new server deployment and movement, and Virtualization architecture migrations. Develop a backup strategy and submit the plan for government approval. Perform regular backups of network files, and as required, restoration of files Develop a Preventive Maintenance Plan for network devices and perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance of the network, systems, and components according to the plan Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen Must consent to and be able to pass a Government T3 (Secret) background clearance investigation (includes finger-printing) Certifications REQUIRED: Security and Recent Commercial Computer Environment Certification Experience providing IT customer support in a professional setting Must consent to providing proof of COVID vaccination in accordance with Federal Executive Order 14042.
