Join us as an Investment Analyst Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Investment Analyst to join our Investment Research team. The Investment Analyst is responsible for assisting Asset Class Leads and the Chief Investment Officer in analyzing and tracking existing/potential managers, performing due diligence, researching asset classes, and communicating findings to the Wealth Management department. This position involves performing tasks related to monitoring the existing portfolio of managers, including gathering and reporting on monthly/quarterly performance and portfolio data from the managers; downloading and analyzing manager and capital markets data from a variety of databases; and interacting with existing and potential investment managers for the Wealth Management platform. The Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the Director of Research and Senior Investment Analysts with tasks related to monitoring the existing investment offering, including the gathering of performance data, portfolio composition data and other reporting and marketing collateral. Other responsibilities may include manager due diligence and supporting relationship management teams with data and information requests related to the investment offering. Some of your key responsibilities include: 1. Reporting/Manager Due Diligence Draft communications for the Front Office including, but not limited to: 1-pagers, top 10 summaries, and Ad Hoc commentary (think performance update, moved to watch list, personnel turnover) Participate in annual reviews with managers. Prepare for and attend manager meetings. Prepare summary memos. Produce and distribute quarterly and monthly analysis and reporting, including monthly performance, monthly holding reports, monthly attribution commentary, and update all client-facing collateral. 2. New Manager Research Meet with and evaluate peers Participate in manager introduction meeting, draft summary notes and recommendations Follow up and resolve outstanding questions Prepare investment memos 3. Relationship Management Support PWM relationship teams by providing information related to the investment offering and assisting with data and other information requests or projects. 4. Investment Analysis Support Asset Class Leads with tasks related to manager monitoring and selection functions. Participate in manager due diligence process including idea generation, review of manager materials, and participating in manager interviews. Support group with other miscellaneous investment-related projects.
