SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for a skilled accounts payable clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and support the finance team to assist in the high volume of purchase/expense related items and provide an exceptional level of support internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Processes Vendor/Supplier Invoices, utilizing a three-way matching concept, up to a 100 line items
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile vendor statements including researching and correcting discrepancies
- Full Understanding of Outlook for emails
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner both verbally and in writing
- Able to multitask and grow with the position
- Must be prompt with regular attendance

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school or equivalent
- Data Entry Experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1 years of Accounts Payable and 3-way match experience
- Knowledge of Oracle, DocLink or Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
