Position Summary:
This position is part of the Electronic Motion & Controls Division (EMC) which provides technologies that create and control motion to customers across a wide range of applications and industries. This exciting opportunity allows you to become part of a team that aligns products and worldwide engineering and manufacturing capabilities to build our presence in a growing electrification space. EMC brings together decades of controls and electronics design and manufacturing expertise with significant growth opportunities presented by our mobile electrification and industrial efforts.
This position will be part of the Smart Connected Products Center of Excellence (COE) working closely with the Internet of Things (IoT) team. They will be responsible to provide technical direction to an engineering team to develop connected and smart products in both mobile and industrial environments. The role will work with cross functional teams across Motion Systems Group to determine requirements and implement them to enable products to be managed on the edge and remotely by Parker’s Internet of Things cloud solution based on Azure and by 3rd party management portals.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
1. As a Senior Cyber Security Architect, you're a key member of the COE team. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end success of new product and security specific feature definitions, standards, and implementation.
2. Collaborate with and influence engineering teams to design, build out and support IT aspects of Internet-of-Things (IoT) environments including lab, Edge Computing, data center and Cloud based environments that support the client and 3rd Party IoT platforms.
3. Perform benchmarking of existing solutions to plan for security standards. Standards will then drive new product development and process for continuous cyber security evaluation. Plan the cyber security framework and roadmaps. Develop methods to audit and verify compliance.
4. Be the Subject Matter Expert with focus areas of Security, Identity, Data Integration, Infrastructure and Cloud. Acting as the product owner for a key 'security' component you will drive requirement definition based on competitive analysis and customer needs.
5. Support IoT cyber security gateway and cloud software needs, including development, compliance, and certificates.
6. Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams, Engineering and Product teams and Department of Defense customers to remove blockers and influence the roadmap.
