Job Title: Part-Time Security Officer

Job Summary:
The Part-Time Security Officer plays an integral role in ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment to all employees and guests. Part-Time Security Officers contribute to building safety by patrolling and monitoring premises and reporting safety conditions. 

24 Hour Security – Part-Time

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating various deliveries
• Controlling and monitoring security cameras
• Monitoring exterior doors to the building and maintaining a secure environment for our visitors
• Controlling guest/vendors access to the Arena
• Ensure all areas are maintained in a professional and clean manner during shift
• Follow safety and security policies, programs and procedures
• Ability to handle the telephone and speak clearly and professionally
• Ability to handle crisis situations in the event of emergency and/or fire
• Work with all departments to ensure the building’s needs are met
• Must conduct building security checks of all floors during 8-hour shift
• Other duties as assigned
• Part-Time 7am-3pm, 3pm– 11pm and overnight 11pm – 7am

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is a must
• Passion to work with people and willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, team player, professional demeanor and assertive
• Ig Degree of self-motivation and ability to work alone if necessary
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available on weekend/overnights
• Customer service experience
• Well-groomed/clean shaven
• Reliable transportation
• Punctual and dependable individual with a positive attitude
• Applicant must possess a valid Florida Class D Security License
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid FL Security D License

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a non-exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours.
