Description
BASIC FUNCTION
Design mechanical products and perform mechanical engineering functions in the execution of assigned projects in a cross-functional work team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Review drawings to insure manufacturability and functionality.
•Assist production with standard product engineering related concerns.
•Analyze and resolve a range of engineering problems.
•Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures.
•Function as part of a design team and utilize engineering design.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.
•Ability to manage and execute small projects as assigned.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Current Standing as a Junior or Senior student actively enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering (or related) Undergraduate Program
•Minimum 3.0 GPA required (submit unofficial transcript)
•Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
•Strong technical, writing, problem solving and analytical skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to follow directions and work tasks through completion
•Detailed oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
•Position is located in a chemical processing facility and may require working different shifts
