Position Summary:

Our elite restaurant and events teams will give you exposure to all forms of the culinary industry; lavish wine dinners, high-paced lunch, and dinner a la carte dining, with a variety of top-shelf banquets and exclusive events.

Provides food and beverage service to club members and guests according to established club steps of service guidelines.

Hours/Days:

Monday through Sunday, flexible, per the seasonal weekly schedule.

Essential Job Functions:

• Sets up side station and performs assigned side work.
• Set up dining room tables for service.
• Polish tables, making sure all centerpieces, silver, napkins are neat, clean and orderly according to club standards
• Provides immediate attention to all members/guests. Tell members/guests of soup, daily specials, and any other new items.
• Takes beverage order while guests decide upon entrée selection; answer questions and suggests menu items.
• Takes members'/guests' orders.
• Enters orders into POS computer, noting any special preparation instructions for kitchen staff.
• Serves meal.
• Checks back to ensure members/guests satisfaction; replenishes beverages as necessary
• Removes soiled dishes.
• Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Verifies accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks; presents bill.
• Keeps restaurant, tables, service stations, etc., clean, well-stocked and organized
• Maintains linens, stocking cupboards
• All interactions with staff and members must be courteous and professional.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Attends pre-meal meeting as requested by Food and Beverage Manager.
• Assists in setup/cleanup for special events and banquets including moving dining room furniture, banquet equipment and setup/breakdown folding tables and chairs.
• Assists in various administrative/clerical tasks are required.
• Attend any required meetings

Education and/or Experience:

• Willing to get Safe Serve Certification
• A thorough knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
• 3 months experience as a food server in a similar establishment.
