Summer 2023 Camp Instructor in Cupertino, CA
Speech and Debate Academy is looking for instructors to teach our in-person camps: speech/public speaking, elementary speech and writing camps for grades 2-3rd, and elementary introductory speech and argumentative writing camps for 4-5th graders and 6-8th graders.
No background in speech and debate is required. Training and detailed Lesson Plans will be provided.

Camp Location: 20900 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA
Camp Times:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM PDT
for ANY the following weeks of 2023:
June 12 - June 16, June 19 - June 23, June 26 - June 30, July 10- July 14, July 17 - July 21, and/or July 24 - July 28.
There is an opportunity to continue during the school year: September 2023 through May 2024 on weekday evenings and on weekends.

Qualifications:
Ability to manage a class of 10 students. We will train instructors and provide a detailed lesson plan.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Experience working with children is a plus.
Likes/would like to work with children and has a positive disposition.
Speech and debate competitive experience is also a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
