Vascular Surgery Practice in Visalia / Fresno, California

Responsibilities will include a variety of direct patient care contexts including inpatient rounding/consults/discharges, first assist duties, and outpatient visits. The practice provides care for PAD and PVD disorders in adults with related pathologies. The APP will work alongside our busy surgeons and be expected to multi-task and willing to learn. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Family Medicine is desirable. Reliability and dedication as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Clinical Master’s Degree – Physicians Assistant (PA) or Clinical Master’s Degree in Nursing (NP) or DNP for ARNPs 
• Current California State Licensure as Physician Assistant of Nurse Practitioner
• Certified Physician Assistant by the Medical Board of California required. National Board Certification/Certification preferred but not mandatory (Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
• Current BLS or ACLS certification (required)
• Current DEA License (required)

The position will be full time and be based in Fresno, CA; however, responsibility may extend to any of our other satellite offices and clinics. Hospital work will be at Saint Agnes Medical Center, Fresno, CA and possibly Kaweah Health Medical Center, Visalia, CA and Adventist Health Medical Centers, Hanford, CA.

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$62.50-90.87/hour - Nurse Practitioner (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

$80-136.25/hour - Physician Assistant (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
