We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and detail-oriented Ecommerce Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding and passion for all things ecommerce, combined with practical experience in web development and working with Shopify/Shopify Plus.

This role will own the management of all active ecommerce projects across multiple DTC websites for SeroVital, Novex Biotech, and other Basic Research brands, ensuring timely execution and quality assurance for both strategic initiatives and day-to-day site maintenance. You will also be responsible for efficiently delegating tasks to team members, reviewing their work, performing thorough QA, and obtaining necessary approvals before launch on production sites.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development and optimization of our Shopify websites, ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and user experience
• Manage all active ecommerce projects for multiple DTC websites, ensuring successful implementation and delivery within established timelines and budgets
• Oversee the execution of web promotions, updates, and new feature development, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality, usability, and compatibility of developed pages across various devices and browsers
• Collaborate with marketing team to translate visual designs into responsive, interactive, and user-friendly PDPs and landing pages using your extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles
• Ensure the proper integration of third-party applications and plugins to support additional functionalities and enhance the ecommerce ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, Customer Service, and IT, to gather requirements and develop project plans
• Delegate responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and timelines for each task
• Review and provide feedback on project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand guidelines
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in ecommerce technologies and platforms, providing recommendations for improvement and innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 5 years Shopify web development or equivalent ecommerce experience
• Proven experience and expertise in ecommerce, front-end web development and project management, with a track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web design principles, enabling you to create visually appealing and highly functional PDPs and landing pages.
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify's Liquid templating language and the ability to customize and extend Shopify themes to match brand guidelines and achieve desired functionality.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with the ability to create intuitive and engaging web interfaces and optimize website navigation, layout, and conversion funnels.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., JavaScript, jQuery) to add interactivity and dynamic elements to web pages.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to implement on-page optimizations to improve search engine visibility and organic rankings.
• Solid understanding of website performance optimization techniques, including image optimization, caching, and minification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications – all a plus, but not required:

• Experience in the dietary supplement, sports nutrition, or beauty industry
• Familiarity with Klaviyo for email marketing automation and personalization
• Experience working with and integrating Product Reviews and Syndication platforms (such as BazaarVoice or Yotpo) and managing product catalogs for internal website use plus network syndication
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools
• Experience working with Jira and/or WorkFront
