Basement Systems of Indiana is actively seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The Full Charge Bookkeeper is a full-time, office-based position with some flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, billing and reporting, managing all accounting and financial record keeping functions. The successful candidate will have experience working in a small office environment, wearing multiple hats, including bookkeeping responsibilities for two companies.
· Record and pay accounts payable activity
· Manage cash application
· Issue invoices to and collect from customers
· Create financial statements and related financial reports
· Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts
· Maintain a coherent system of accounts with a supporting filing system
· Monitor cash levels
· Sales & Use Tax reporting
· Prepare internal financial statements
· Maintain the General Ledger and ensure proper posting of all transactions
· Maintain fixed assets and associated entries
· Prepare journal entries, supporting reconciliations
· Reconcile intercompany accounts and balance sheet accounts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
