Description
For more than 60 years, Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., has provided the civil engineering needs of municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast. We are a growing multi-disciplined firm of professional engineers, environmental scientists, planners and landscape architects with offices across New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut and Maine. We are currently seeking a team-oriented Structural Engineer to join our Facilities group in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities include:
This position requires frequent coordination and interaction with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, sub-consultants, and municipal officials.
Requirements
Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and 0-8 years of applicable experience in the design of steel and concrete structures; experience with NYS Building Codes is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in technical writing and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact within a project team and external clients. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) in NY (or eligibility to obtain) is desired and experience in the consulting engineering field is preferred.
