We are looking to add to our Barton Ford Vehicle Sales team.

Position Summary: Sell new and pre-owned vehicles through active and consistent pursuit of walk-in, phone, and internet lead customers as well as customers from personal networks and relationships!

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, (Non-Exempt)

Reports to:  General Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Commit to becoming an automotive sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of FORD vehicles and technology through FORD trainingEnsure that every Customer is completely satisfied with their automotive purchase experience Actively develop and/or pursue potential walk-in, phone, internet or personal network and relationship sales leads
  • Fully utilize the electronic lead systems and CRM provided for sales development
  • Diligently follow-up on active sales leads through phone, email, and other written or social media communication
  • Set daily customer appointments
  • Develop a creative and successful strategy for every vehicle sale
  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options
  • Present vehicles to meet customer needs and desired options
  • Perform test drives and demonstrate vehicles
  • Maximize profitability in each and every car and truck deal
  • Complete accurate paperwork and computer entries for all customers
  • Collect all pertinent customer data to develop sales quotes
  • Work with sales management team to determine sales quotes and properly present
  • Follow-up with prospective customers and return email and voicemail
  • Coordinate delivery of sold vehicles
  • Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads

Requirements

  • Need be self-motivated and a quick learner
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to follow management direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Neat professional grooming, appearance, and presentation
  • Be able to work positively with the public and co-workers
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office, CRM experience, skilled with lead generation systems, software, and the internet
  • Ability to effectively use social media
  • Be able to use computers for training, daily work plan and to communicate with sales prospects
  • Be flexible with hours and willing work Saturday
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal back-round check

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Good driving record
  • MVDB Salesperson License (Current or Acquire After Hire)
  • Have recent/prior automotive sales experience, or strong general sales and customer service background
  • High moral character and integrity
  • Commitment to Beach Ford’s the objectives of the company
     
     
    Work Schedule:
     
    This is a full-time non-exempt position. This position has varying daily schedules working Monday through Saturday.
