Barrett Petfood Innovations is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are currently hiring for a 3rd Shift Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the operation of pet food manufacturing and sanitation of the plant.

Summary

The 3rd Shift Operations Manager will oversee general operations to ensure efficiency and quality in all areas of operations in a co-manufacturing setting.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Serves as the point of contact for work direction and issue resolution during 3rd shift.

· Organizes, trains, directs, and oversees overall operation.

· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

· Provides guidance to on-shift supervisors in response to immediate staff issues.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborates with other supervisors on duty to coordinate operation in and among departments in the facility.

· Regularly reports to the Director of Operations to collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess operations.

· Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality.

· Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.

· Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.

· Continuously looks for process improvement and best practices.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

compensation:

70,000 - 90,000 depending on qualifications and experience
