OBJECTIVE:
Ensures cleanliness of guest public areas to the standards set forth by the Hotel, AAA and Mobil. Also ensures adequate staff coverage in areas and or floors of responsibility. Inspects guest areas and prepares suites for guest and VIP arrivals, and services guest rooms. Evaluates staff member performance and develops subordinate staff.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment is not limited to areas inside Barona Resort and Casino only; it may include other work areas outside the building and/or other public areas. Work may take place under all weather and climate conditions; i.e., sun, rain, hot, cold, snow, wind and dust, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
2. Assigns work areas to staff members to ensure proper staff coverage on the floor.
3. Processes managers’ and director’s reports, and other required paperwork to pass adequate and correct information to staff members.
4. Responds to all guests and staff member calls, and assist with the appropriate job and or information.
5. Provides excellent guest service to internal guests (staff members) and external guests.
6. Acts as resource regarding department activities, and operations.
7. Maintains a working knowledge of all floors, in room furniture, and all other guest services.
8. Cleans all coffee makers, glasses, furniture; sofas, chairs, cushions, benches, artwork and plants, all mirrors, all marble counters, tables and all stonework, ashtrays and all trash receptacles, doors, door frames, and windows.
9. Wipes down all hardware, and polishes all metal, woodwork, walls and boards, fixtures, lights, and lamps, baseboards and ledges.
10. Replenishes guest amenities as necessary.
11. Always checks to ensure proper operation of all toilets flushing toilet until water bowl is clean.
12. Sweeps and mops floors.
13. Vacuums carpet(s).
14. Re-supplies own cart with necessary supplies, including ash trays, and replenish dispensers
15. Removes trash, debris, dirty or used cups, trays, and tables from assigned area(s).
16. Cleans elevators, elevator tracks, remove fingerprints from elevator walls, etc.
17. Cleans all vents and high hats.
18. Maintains awareness of safety standards and follows safety procedures.
19. Reports all unsafe conditions and or required repairs to appropriate supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently, to read and follow instructions
Ability to speak English is strongly desired

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous Supervisory experience desired
Housekeeping and or previous cleaning, maintenance experience is preferred
ALTERNATIVE TO MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A combination of education and training that would enable the person to perform the essential functions of the job.
