Barbaricum seeks an experienced and engaged Program Manager to provide oversight and active management to multiple programs across data science and software engineering disciplines that support high-visibility national security customers. This PM will play a key role in sustaining and growing Barbaricum’s burgeoning technical, development, and engineering support to intelligence functions across the DoD and Intelligence Community. To that end, this individual must be proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic about customer and employee engagement.

Due to the technical nature of the programs this PM will support, experience managing teams of software, data engineering, and data science professionals, as well as advanced knowledge of that associated tradecraft will be prerequisites for consideration. This position will be based at Barbaricum’s Washington, DC headquarters, but will accommodate a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide oversight across multiple teams supporting multiple programs and customers.
  • Ensure cost, schedules, and technical requirements of projects are communicated and met.
  • Ensure internal and external resources are used effectively.
  • Coordinate the resolution of project execution-related challenges.
  • Ensure proper relationships are established and nurtured to facilitate delivery of services.
  • Develop and execute Program Management Plans.
  • Integrate with Barbaricum team members and processes to ensure steady state operations. This will include collaboration with Operations, Human Resources, Accounting, Recruiting, and Quality Management teams.
  • Complete and remain organized with monthly CDRLs and associated reports.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly briefs through Operations leadership to maintain awareness of key milestones, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with contract and corporate team members to earn high CPARS ratings across all categories.
  • Provide support to business development teams as needed and when relevant.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of experience related to the responsibilities listed above
  • Active PMP certification preferred
  • Active DoD TS clearance required (TS/SCI preferred) in order to facilitate on-site engagements
  • Experience managing various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF)
  • Experience managing highly technical teams and understanding of associated capabilities and technology/tools
