Part-Time 7a - 7p
JOB DUTIES - North Tower 4 is a Medical Surgical/Oncology and Palliative Care unit. The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of care for patients under the direction and supervision of a LPN or Registered Nurse. Care that is given is appropriate to the age of the patient from adult to geriatric.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY –
A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, or higher.
Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
Six months experience in a nursing home preferred (experience may be substituted for certified nursing assistant education).
