Job Description:
Analyze detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for Global Banking Asset Management Specifications. Partner with QA teams to manage release workflow and meet internal and external deadlines. Manage IT projects from end to end within SLDC framework. Use Apache Storm Clusters and Kafka to investigate data quality issues and identify root causes. Instruct QA testers and associates on proper QA methodology and tools for analysis. Maintain daily scrums and clear obstacles faced by team. Escalate issues and work with developers and business analysts as appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics or Finance.
Must include a minimum of 1 year of professional programming experience at a top-tier financial firm and 1 year of experience in each of the following: Java, Unix, SQL, Groovy.
Must be methodical and detail oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem solving ability.
Must have ability to work well with others and manage multiple workflows. Additionally, must be experienced with market surveillance technology and have a proven record of excellence in ability to understand and implement robust technical solutions to US and international regulatory compliance requirements. In-depth knowledge of FIX protocol and CAT reporting including proven ability to implement automated solutions for CAT reporting.
Nice-to-haves:
1 year of experience using JavaScript HTML, and CSS. Experience working on the tech side of large multinational Bank and with Electronic Trading Technology and/or Engines.
