Job Description:
Responsible for the day to day support operations for GMRT AMPS Infrastructure platform. Drive AMPS bus incident triage calls and work with multiple teams including vendor to perform root cause analysis. Liaise with development and support teams on process improvements, proactive identification, and resolution of problem hotspots to drive platform stability. Work closely with the CIO and TI leads for capacity management, risk and compliance deliverables. Handle all escalations, identify gaps, and coordinate with regional MAPS leads and CIO partners to ensure team can provide expected coverages. Work closely with Quartz Core and Core Ops leads for implementing best practices, policies, and mandates. Identify areas for improvements (both procedural and technical) and prioritize the task internally. Manage releases, weekend maintenance, key initiatives (RHEL upgrades, DC exits etc.) and impact assessment for the platform. Establish production standards and onboarding guidelines for new services and projects on the AMPS bus. Responsible for performing effective communication and stakeholder management. Provide various matrices/reports for the client and management needs. Act as team lead and drive documentation, internal training and ensure team follows MAPS Standard Operating Procedures.
