Planning Manager Job Description
The Planning Manager coordinates the development and ongoing management of the Parks Audit (coverage) and Resource (capacity) Plans across the Consumer, GWIM, and CFO business segments, and is also responsible for plan-related governance, reporting, and analysis.
Audit Planning responsibilities include supporting Plan development for each Parks business segment which includes leading risk calibration, assisting in determining risk-based coverage needs, and building analytics to support pro-forma coverage reporting to measure Plan risks and opportunities. Capacity Planning responsibilities include evaluating resources and proficiencies across the team, reviewing coverage plan staffing needs, and aligning the appropriate resources to each audit to optimize capacity. The Planning Manager will also helping drive out the department’s resourcing priorities which include delivering the annual Skills Assessment, analyzing results, and supporting the development of skills-related action plans across the Parks team.
This role works closely with the Parks leadership team to identify, manage, and report on ongoing coverage and capacity risks and opportunities. The position requires the individual to build effective partnerships with the Parks leadership team and across Corporate Audit. This role reports directly to the COO of the Parks Team.
