Job Description:
The Business Support Manager is responsible for managing diverse administrative and reporting functions for Local Markets Credit Risk including, but not limited to:
• Performs tasks to gather, arrange and analyze data using various platforms
• Develop, maintain, and manage reporting, analytics, Tableau dashboards and other Business Intelligence solutions owned by Local Markets
• Interprets data and analyzing results using statistical techniques
• Conducts analysis to determine root causes, propose solutions, scope projects, implement solutions and assess impact
• Develops additional report content using dashboards and other sources
• Support of ongoing routines, reporting and ad hoc projects related to third party oversight
• Coordinate multiple cross functional and horizontal projects and timelines, prioritizing work based on the value proposition for the business
• Consults with senior leadership to define project scope and coordinating with subject matter experts are routine functions of this role
• Identifies portfolio trends in current population distributions and escalating significant variants
• Provide organizational performance reporting, monitoring of key metrics and coordinate development, tracking and execution of remediation action plans
• Coordinate forecasting for Local Markets and ensure all changes impacting Criticized risk rating levels are identified and escalated
• A working knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or product, general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices is essential.
Desired and Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline (e.g. Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering)
• 3 – 5 years organizational skills, business support and/or project management experience
• Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools; Excel (macros, pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics
• Ability to analyze data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Ability to respond to ad-hoc requests for information from team members and other requestors by asking questions, identifying relevant data needed to satisfy the request
• Advanced analytical skills that demonstrate ability to learn how to navigate systems, access data, reconcile numbers from different sources, identify discrepancies and understand drivers of change within data
• Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
• Problem solver with ability to take ownership of tasks and drive through challenges
• High attention to detail and quality work product(s)
• Strong business partnering experience / skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence equally well within all levels of an organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
