POSITION SUMMARY 

This person will provide administrative, organizational, and technical support to the IT team. This individual will handle providing customer service, creating reports for the department, coordinating team meetings, gathering data from each department, and creating reports. In addition, the task of the IT Project Coordinator involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met on time.

Role and Responsibilities

• The ability to communicate effectively, written and oral, with diverse groups.
• Help define project deliverables, timeline, and resources required for technology-related projects to complete IT objectives.
• Coordinate internal/external resources for project timelines, updates, issues, and documentation, to ensure that all projects are on time and successfully executed.
• Work closely with IT Manager and staff to ensure proper guidelines are followed and timelines are met.
• Identify and help resolve IT Issues.
• Create strategies for risk reduction and contingency planning.
• Assist with IT Department opening service tickets as needed.
• Maintain and manage Project Lifecycle in a team environment.
• Effectively relay moderately complex to complex ideas and issues to varied audiences.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Excellent presentation, organizational, and customer service skills is a must.
• Reasonable knowledge of IT hardware and software technologies are required.
• Minimum of two years of experience coordinating and/or supporting IT business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Project Lifecycle Management Software
