We seek a .NET Technical Lead to support a large government client. Candidates must demonstrate leadership with the ability to delegate tasks and responsibility to create an efficient work environment – following an Agile development work pattern – where he or she will be required to create and track user stories, and must have experience with relative sizing and story points. 

Must have 10 years of work experience in development using Microsoft .NET, Web services, and XML.

All candidates must pass the government client’s Background Investigation, as well as obtain a Public Trust clearance which requires US Citizenship.

Description

The candidate must have a strong .NET and Microsoft stack technology background that includes familiarity and experience with a broad range of software development best practices, architecture patterns, technologies, frameworks and tools such as Visual Studio, TFS, MS SQL Server/Oracle, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap. Furthermore, the candidate must also have experience articulating the business value of provided solutions and how these investments enable future business capability. The candidate must be able to collaborate with business stakeholders and build confidence as a trusted advisor to establish positive relationships with our client.

Requirements

• 10 years of work experience in development using Microsoft .NET, Web services, and XML.
• MVC, C#, .NET 4.5, Entity Framework, Linq, OOP/OOD, HTML5, JQuery, T-SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript Telerik Kendo UI, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• Leading Agile teams, and adhering to Agile development principles – particularly SCRUM and Kanban – to implement MVC and responsive Web-based applications for the desktop, tablet, or phone platforms.
• Proficient experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
• Advanced understanding of Oracle; experience with complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Excellent understanding of database design, data modeling concepts, and experience with data migrations.
• Experience with integration/interfacing with external applications across different networks, Active Directory.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.

• Responsive Web applications for mobile
• TFS Build and Release/Continuous integration
• Advanced understanding of testing tools and unit testing
• Integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
• Integration with F5 load balancer
• SonarQube, Checkmarx, or other code scanning tools.
