The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from technologies and investments to supply chain, manufacturing and test operations, facilities management, and information technology services.

Project Manager Associate – Operational Engineering & Planning (OE&P)

What You’ll Do:

• Manage customer expectations on projects, hiring and training efforts.
• Develop, manage, document, and communicate project schedules and/or department initiatives.
• Plan, execute, monitor, control, document, and communicate all aspects of department level special projects: cost, schedule, scope, and resources.
• Projects include: Business Process Excellence Metrics and Dashboards, Automating Estimate-to-Complete for various works areas, Capital expansion projects.
• Prepare and communicate status reports.
• Evaluate and resolve project issues to meet defined goals and objectives.
• Gather, interpret, and analyze data for departmental or project needs.
• Recommend changes and drive enhancements to hiring, training and general department processes.
• Act as liaison between functional managers, human resources, talent and organizational development team and employees.
• Prepare appropriate requests and disseminate information regarding changes, forecasts, systems, etc.
• Plan and conducts regular project meetings.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need:

• BS/BA in a related field.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• HIRING SALARY RANGE: $57,000 - $76,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
