Baldwin & Shell Construction Companyis searching for an Office Engineer who will thrive in our Northwest Arkansas Team. The Office Engineer should have some basic knowledge of commercial construction and the desire to advance in this field. The Office Engineer reports directly to a Project Manager. The OE coordinates all the materials and equipment of a project through the procurement, submittal, and delivery phases. As a core company member, you will be expected to be professional, polite, friendly, reliable, and attentive while also being accurate. You should always be prepared, organized, and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly while not being afraid to ask for help when needed.

To thrive, you must:

• Have previous experience in Commercial Construction
• Have construction industry knowledge
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Be familiar with industry software
• Have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Have highly developed organizational and time management abilities
• Respond well to criticism and actively listens to feedback. 
• Be willing to learn and expand your knowledge continuously 

Every day you are relied on to;

• Set up file structure for new jobs.
• Scan documents as needed for cloud storage.
• Take Jobsite photographs and catalog photographs.
• Review specifications and set up submittal logs.
• Works closely with APM/PM.
• Go above and beyond to help assist your team in any way needed.
