MARKETING COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with the Sales and Marketing US & Canada department in strategy aimed at achieving annual revenue goals.
• Supports management in planning and execution of coop marketing plans with Tour Operators and Travel Agencies.
• Assists in review and approval of messaging and imagery for all coop marketing plan components, including digital assets, social media, email blasts, web content, print ads, etc.
• Reviews and updates hotel content (images and information) on partners’ websites.
• Helps managing and tracking marketing budget for US and Canada, including coop marketing.
• Communicates regularly with the Sales and Marketing team to understand business/marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitors sales in US and Canada market for all hotels in portfolio.
• Assists in development, production and maintenance of collateral material, such as brochures, flyers, sales kits, presentations, merchandising, etc., as needed by the sales team for trade shows and other events.
• Coordinates with hotels and other departments as necessary to ensure sales campaigns and marketing initiatives are carried out successfully.
• Oversees creative process with in-house designers from beginning to end (including briefing, review, edition and approval), in compliance with corporate branding guidelines.
• Collaborates with US/Canada management and corporate Trade Marketing team in creation and execution of a variety of marketing initiatives in the Americas, including trade media plans.
• Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
• Communicates programs/services to team members, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that impact the business.
• Stays updated on all hotel services/features.
• Keeps abreast of developments in property portfolio, competition and industry.
• Other duties as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.
• 2-3 years of hospitality experience.
• Oral and written command of English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
