At Backbase you'll be joining one of our two multicultural, multi-disciplined teams of highly skilled developers maintaining our customer-facing developer portals, using technologies such as Angular/Typescript and React/Javascript. Your team has end-to-end responsibility for creating a developer portal to address the information needs of our growing technical audience of product implementation engineers.

Meet the job

As a Software Engineer you'll be working Fullstack with Angular/TypeScript or React/JavaScript and NodeJS to create the best web interfaces, administration panels, and omni-channel user experiences.
We love clean, testable, and maintainable code that is cross-browser compatible. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that is end-to-end responsible for analysis, design, implementation and delivery of production-ready software.
We like to keep work interesting and we encourage our developers to develop their personal strengths.

How about you
● You have at minimum 3 years of experience in developing responsive web applications using different frameworks;
● You are an experienced JavaScript developer. Experience with TypeScript/Angular or React is a plus;
● Good working knowledge of REST, JSON, nginx, NPM, and front-end building tools;
● You embrace DevOps whole-heartedly: you have strong evidence-based experience with Jenkins and Docker. Kubernetes is a plus. You understand the value of a working and stable build pipeline;
● You are a developer who is eager to learn, interested in learning new frameworks, proactive in your approach and enjoys proposing and trying out new technology. You are passionate about your craft;
● Your code is clean, elegant and easy to grasp;
● You grok different types of testing and know when to use them. Your unit test coverage is immaculate;
● You are not concerned about interacting with technical stakeholders using your products and helping them to understand how your product works;
● Your understanding and ability to communicate in English is excellent.
