Reputable construction company based in Hauppauge is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate is dynamic and fast paced with 3 years of experience. The candidate must be extremely Professional, neat, organized, work well in a fast paced environment and have excellent follow-up skills.

The position is paying up to $85K and the company would like to interview ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Monthly AIA payment requisitions for projects that require schedule of values and supporting schedules.
• Set up requisitions in Company Accounting Project.
• Coordinate with Project Executives at inception of job to establish billing timing, contacts and procedures.
• Coordinate with Project Executives on an ongoing basis to properly assess progress billings.
• Follow-up with customer for approved requisitions and ensure payments are received in a timely manner.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Well Organized, detailed oriented, time sensitive and a team player.
• Must have Construction Accounting Experience.
• Familiarity with full construction revenue cycle.
• General Accounting knowledge.
• 3 years construction experience.
• Proficient user of Excel.
• Experience with Construction Accounting Software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Company.
• Additional assignments as requested by CFO.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
